Very interesting research. Property-Based Testing made quite some progress the past few years but indeed it still needs to improve in term of usability. Looking forward to some of that research to get available in existing testing tools.
How the medical sector is struggling with badly designed software. Also important to note how security is just getting in the way of nurses and doctors jobs.
It's nice that we get more content usable on mobiles... but this shouldn't come at the expense of bad usability when on desktops.
An excellent reminder that usability wise, high-tech is not always the best path. It's good to also evaluate low-tech options at every turn. This is important to know the pros and cons of all the options you can pick.
There's also an interesting point in there about how those more constrained technologies in fact force and help designers to focus on the most important user features.
