So many requests based on vanity and hype... I like the question "when you go to other websites do you use it?", we should use it more. Maybe at some point we'll realise that simplicity matters.

There's a whole swat of solutions for very lean services. You can go a long way reducing complexity as much as possible. Less infrastructure bills are definitely welcome.

I definitely agree with this. Managing complexity is our trade.

Don't use it much anymore for various reasons, but I still find the simplicity of IRC still appealing and elegant. It is a really neat protocol.
